A Clear Choice
A voice is calling, 'Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness...'
Isaiah 40:3 (NAS)
The increasing elevation of today's stars, both naughty and nice, gives fans a clear choice. The sensationalism of dark media and falling stars may not stop until Jesus comes back. Bad grows bolder.

What may surprise some Christians is that the rise of darkness is actually good news. Unmistakable evil is an easy backdrop for light to be seen. 'The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it' (John 1:5).

When evil is clearly evident, confusion lifts for the innocent; it descends on the guilty instead.

'But the Lord your God will deliver them before you, and will throw them into great confusion until they are destroyed' (Deuteronomy 7:23).

Actors, models, and talent for Christ, picture yourselves as the clear choice: a shining example that reflects the Face of Jesus. Show His star power. Glow in His fame. Your mission is written on page one of the Bible: 'And God separated the light from the darkness' (Genesis 1:4).

Every good story comes full circle.

We're reaching the end of times, and you're starring in the second greatest story ever told. While standing on the stages of the entertainment industry, act like Him. Love like Him. Realize your motivation in the Words of Jesus and the prophet Isaiah:

'The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed' (Luke 4:18).

You are God's chosen ones to give the brokenhearted a clear choice between light and darkness.

"I labored, yet not I. By the grace of God, I am what I am, and do what I do' (paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 15:10). I love God's Word. As a late-in-life committed Christian with no Bible training prior to age 51, some people wonder how I'm qualified to write devotions. I wonder that, too. But God loves children and fools for Him. I am both. Ghost Writer? God.
