Acting Like Kids, Complete Faith (Part 4)
So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.
Galatians 3:26 (NIV)
Since 'Without faith it is impossible to please Him' (Hebrews 11:6), we know faith is essential to enter the Kingdom of God.
Who has more faith than a child fearlessly flying into the arms of a parent? A child happy to go anywhere dad goes--just for the thrill of the ride, a child expecting every need to be met, a child who doesn't know the meaning of worry. Can we have such faith?
We must. God expects it. Even better, we can expect our perfect Father to catch us when we jump, take us to exciting places, provide more than we need, receive all the cares we throw at Him, and return beauty for the ashes in our lives.
Jesus tells us to 'Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light' (John 12:36).
Actors, models, and talent for Christ are not just children of light, but children of lights, cameras, and action. They walk in faith from casting to casting, stage to stage, and glory to glory--believing their place in this light is ordained by God. And it is.
The harsh competition of the entertainment industry demands faith. For actors, models, and talent without Christ, they place faith in their talent, work, beauty, fame, agent, money, personality, popularity--or sources far worse. If one source fails, they look to another.
God is the One Source Who never fails. Therefore, His talent has a supernatural advantage, a peace that defies understanding. As gifted actors, 'acting like kids' should be easy enough for His stars, but there's more...
