And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger...
Behold, your King is coming to you, lowly, and sitting on a donkey.
And the soldiers twisted a crown of thorns and put it on His Head, and they put on Him a purple robe.
Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots...
Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures... He was buried, and... He rose again the third day...
Q: In the history of mankind... in all the religions of the world... in every leader who was, is or will be... Even in the monstrous scope of media, who ever heard of such a Leader as Jesus?
A: No one, no where, no way. Jesus was, is and will be forever... completely new.
Q: Aren't leaders supposed to be rich, famous and powerful?
A: 'Rather, He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a Man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death--even death on a Cross! Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the Name that is above every name' (Philippians 2:7-9).
Q: What about His disciples?
A: 'Sitting down, He called the twelve and said to them, 'If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all' ' (Mark 9:35).
Q. Actors, models and talent for Christ: must you humble yourselves to become stars?
A. By the Hand of God, yes! 'Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you' (James 4:10).
Q. Is there any other way to become a star?
A: Unfortunately, yes. Consider the offer made to Jesus: 'Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, 'All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours' ' (Luke 4:5-7).
Actors, models and talent for Christ: The exaltation of evil in media is not new. The exaltation of stars in media is not new, but humility is very new. Jesus didn't fall for the enemy's line. Neither should you. Therefore, remember the newness of your Leader, and continue to follow His lead.
