All Things (Part 15)
Are Covered By His Blood
By Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the Law of Moses.
Acts 13:39 (NKJV)
For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the Blood of His Cross.
Colossians 1:19-20 (NKJV)
Physically, our blood is a life support system. It provides oxygen, nourishment, protection, regulation, immunity, communication, transportation, climate control, waste removal, medical support, air conditioning and even pleasure.*

Spiritually, His Blood is a life support system. He provides peace, power, cleansing, covenant, covering, communion, nourishment, atonement, redemption, protection, forgiveness, sanctification, reconciliation and even Heaven.**

How can the Blood of Jesus do these things? To me, it's a wonderful mystery: one clearly seen in heartfelt believers. Despite earth's merciless tribulations, they evidence supernatural vigor: joy and vibrancy through life's hardest times.

Actors, models and talent for Christ: You can show the world a new way to shine. It's the charisma of a Carpenter. Its impact wins you respect and auditions. The Blood of Jesus provides your power.

In believing the Blood, you can find new life, regardless of your past. You can forgive others and even yourself. Your can fight the good fight and never give up. You can exchange bondage for perfect freedom. You can rise from setbacks and try again.

When you plead the Blood of the Christ, you summon Blood-kin connections. Your Father will come to your aid, because you believe in His Son.

"I labored, yet not I. By the grace of God, I am what I am, and do what I do' (paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 15:10). I love God's Word. As a late-in-life committed Christian with no Bible training prior to age 51, some people wonder how I'm qualified to write devotions. I wonder that, too. But God loves children and fools for Him. I am both. Ghost Writer? God.
