The Day of the Lord of hosts shall come upon everything proud and lofty, upon everything lifted up, and it shall be brought low...
The great Day of the Lord is near; It is near and hastens quickly...
Many will say to Me in that Day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your Name, cast out demons in Your Name, and done many wonders in Your Name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
The Day of the Lord is coming quickly. We are told to be watchful and ready, to stay focused on our Father's business, to love God first and our neighbors second, to believe in His Son as our Savior, to model the lifestyle of Jesus, to hear Him closely and obey His Words...
To lay down our lives as we once knew them, to pick up our crosses and carry them, to turn the other cheek on all insults, to forgive others as He forgives us, to persevere through our hard trials, to trust in God's perfect justice system, and to give thanks in every circumstance...
To multiply the talents He gave us, to walk in the beauty of holiness, to deliver the fruits of His Spirit, to carry His Good News to all nations, to reflect His light in a darkened world, to fight against the forces of evil, to serve God's interests and not our own.
Actors, models and talent for Christ: In this age of global media, a time of war and desperation, you are agents of delivery. Specifically in how you act, look, speak, work, eat, love and spend your time. You've been made ambassadors for Christ to prepare for His Day of return.
To deliver your peers from evil requires a knowledge of Who is good. Like never before in history, billions of eyes watch millions of screens. Privacy is no longer private, and dark deeds are now coming to light. Therefore, good examples are crucial, and this is the role you're called to play.
So be sure to stand up for Jesus, and He will surely stand up for you.
'He Who testifies to these things says, 'Surely I am coming quickly.'
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen' (Revelation 22:20).
