Heart Conditions (Part 12, Conclusion)
New Hearts
I will give you a new heart and put a new Spirit within you.
Ezekiel 36:26 (NKJV)
Clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
2 Corinthians 3:3 (NKJV)
He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.
John 7:38 (NKJV)
But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.
John 4:14 (NKJV)
Actors, models and talent for Christ: you are the new generation born of the old. Your stories are not written by the ink of the law, but by the Spirit of the Lord. Your heart is not wayward, stony or thorny. It is not fat, phony or proud. It is not divided by temptation, but focused by faith.

You are not known in Hollywood as angry judges screaming 'I'm holier than you are,' but as excellent performers, saying 'I'm ready to serve wherever you need me.' You bring unusual joy to every set--whether it's an office or a sound stage.

'You are the light of the world' (Matthew 5:14). You are 'The city set on a hill' (Matthew 5:14) that can no longer be hidden. Because the time of your rising is now.* 'Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation' (2 Corinthians 6:2).

The condition of your heart is soft and open to the direction of God and the cries of His people. You know the enemy, and you fight him with love, hope and humility. Because Jesus demonstrated that 'Love never fails' (1 Corinthians 13:8), 'Hope does not disappoint' (Romans 5:5), and 'Before honor is humility' (Proverbs 15:33).

You don't worry that your heart will become corrupted, because you dress for success. You 'Put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness' (Ephesians 4:24). You are not ignorant of the enemy's devices. You are shielded by God's Word.

So you learn His Lines, and His Lines become your lines.

You carry your cross willingly and patiently. Your cross is your duty, and your duty is to be lifted high by media--as 21st century examples of the beauty of God. So that your heart condition, which is His Heart's rendition, may spread like fire to your fans.

"I labored, yet not I. By the grace of God, I am what I am, and do what I do' (paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 15:10). I love God's Word. As a late-in-life committed Christian with no Bible training prior to age 51, some people wonder how I'm qualified to write devotions. I wonder that, too. But God loves children and fools for Him. I am both. Ghost Writer? God.
