Hope: Receives God's Mercy
On those who hope in His mercy...
Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, just as we hope in You.
Psalm 33:18, 22 (NKJV)
Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption.
Psalm 130:70 (NKJV)
Imagine God as the perfect Father, because He is, and we are His children.

Imagine living when it isn't easy, because for many Christians, it isn't.

Imagine making serious mistakes, because we do. We're wise to admit it.

Imagine clinging to far-fetched hope, while others think it's unreasonable.

Imagine men judging you unworthy to receive the fulfillment of your hope.

Imagine why Jesus died on the Cross. His love cleanses you and makes you worthy.

Imagine His vast power of mercy to renew and reward your fondest hope.

Imagine all true Christians on this earth giving mercy with selfless abandon.

Imagine mercy changing earth's people and daring many to hope once again.

Today, shall we not thank God for mercy in sending earth's only Hope down to us-- that we may rise with Him to a new life?

"I labored, yet not I. By the grace of God, I am what I am, and do what I do' (paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 15:10). I love God's Word. As a late-in-life committed Christian with no Bible training prior to age 51, some people wonder how I'm qualified to write devotions. I wonder that, too. But God loves children and fools for Him. I am both. Ghost Writer? God.
