Immeasurable Power (Part 6)
Your Weaponry
The Name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.
Proverbs 18:10 (NKJV)
Actors, models, and talent for Christ: your stage right entrance into the field of entertainment is a threat to Satan's stronghold. If you open the door to your house (your soul) by complaining, selfishness, gossip, or wrong behavior, he will come in and attack you. Since all of us can leave our doors open, we need to know how to kick out the enemy and seal them tight.

If you're an actor, memorize His Script-ure. Nothing can beat It. Nothing is more important. Not a break-out role. Not an Academy Award. Nothing. If your memory needs a boost, write the Scriptures on index cards and keep them close. 'Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away' (Matthew 24:35).

'You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He Who is in you is greater than he who is in the world' (1 John 4:4).

'Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us' (Romans 8:37).

'Now thanks be to God Who always leads us in triumph in Christ' (2 Corinthians 2:14).

' 'No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,' says the Lord' (Isaiah 54:17).

'Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you' (Luke 10:19).

'I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies' (2 Samuel 22:4).

'He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love' (Colossians 1:13).

'For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ' (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

'And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom' (2 Timothy 4:18).

'Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you' (James 4:7).

'Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle' (Psalm 144:1).

'For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall' (2 Samuel 22:30, Psalm 18:29).

Within the Word of God is immeasurable power. The Word of God is Jesus.

"I labored, yet not I. By the grace of God, I am what I am, and do what I do' (paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 15:10). I love God's Word. As a late-in-life committed Christian with no Bible training prior to age 51, some people wonder how I'm qualified to write devotions. I wonder that, too. But God loves children and fools for Him. I am both. Ghost Writer? God.
