Immeasurable Power (Part 8, Conclusion)
The Power Of Light
If you continue in My Word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.
John 8:31-32 (NAS)
For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow.
Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV)
For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow.

Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV)

If God is in His Word, then the Word of God is alive. If everything alive moves, then so does God's Word. 'I will visit you and perform My good Word toward you' (Jeremiah 29:10). 'I am ready to perform My Word' (Jeremiah 1:12).

If God says, 'Be transformed by the renewing of your mind' (Romans 12:2), then how do we renew our minds?

We receive the Word of God through our ears and our eyes. But that's just the first step. To unleash Its transforming power, we must speak It. Remember that God didn't just think the world into existence, He spoke it. 'Then God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light' (Genesis 1:3).

He spoke everything into existence with the Power of His Word. Even us. In overwhelming love, He gives to us His Book and the Power of His Word within It. He instructs us to use It 'That the Word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified' (2 Thessalonians 3:1). What brings Him glory?

Jesus said, 'I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do' (John 17:4). And more: 'By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples' (John 15:8). How?

'Being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God' (Philippians 1:11). God wants us to work for Him and be productive, but we can only do this by becoming like Jesus. Becoming means 'growing to be' (Random House Dictionary). So, we must grow to be like Jesus. How?

'If you continue in My Word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free' (John 8:31-32). Free from what? Free from bad habits and evil influences that make us miserable. Free to do His work on this earth.

Therefore, we must stay in God's Word. We must speak It. In doing so, we become transformed into the image of our Lord (see 2 Corinthians 3:18). God's Word is a righteous sword from the Mouth of Jesus (see Revelation 1:16). Applied to believers, It is a laser beam of white light that cuts away our selfishness and leaves only our brilliance in Him.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ: invite God's Word to be your Coach. The resulting light brings star power beyond your imagination. Your fans will not be following you, but Him in you. Therein, millions of lost and prodigal children will be brought to Christ through the performance of your life.

Within the Word of God is immeasurable power. The Word of God is Jesus.
