Jesus, The Warrior (Part 5, Conclusion)
Your Role
Then He came the third time and said to them, 'Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough! The hour has come.'
Mark 14:41 (NKJV)
Actors, models, and talent for Christ, your hour has come. You rise to 'Fight the good fight of faith.' You speak a 'Good confession in the presence of many witnesses' (1 Timothy 6:12). You are His army of love, truth, talent, and light.

In full obedience as 'Good soldier{s} of Christ Jesus' (1 Timothy 2:3), you are willing to 'suffer hardship,' leave the comforts of home, and risk rejection in an industry where darkness is celebrated. But you will not be rejected.

God says, 'Light excels darkness' (Ecclesiastes 2:13). 'If you give yourself to the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then your light will rise in darkness' (Isaiah 58:10). Therein, you are His rising stars, 'A guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness' (Romans 2:19).

Imagine God smiling as His heavenly hosts cheer and applaud every faith-filled move you make. Imagine Satan scowling as his hellish hosts tremble; they plead to God within you, 'I beg You, do not torment {us}' (Luke 8:28).

While standing in God's spotlight, 'The schemes of the devil' (Ephesians 6:11) bounce off your shining performances. Satan flees His power within you. And while you're resisting him...

Hold your hands out to Hollywood. Embrace those looking for light, because 'In all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us' (Romans 8:37).

Through love we stand strong with Jesus, the Warrior.

"I labored, yet not I. By the grace of God, I am what I am, and do what I do' (paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 15:10). I love God's Word. As a late-in-life committed Christian with no Bible training prior to age 51, some people wonder how I'm qualified to write devotions. I wonder that, too. But God loves children and fools for Him. I am both. Ghost Writer? God.
