Jews And Gentiles (Part 3, Conclusion)
The Perfect Family
For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one... so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
Ephesians 2:14-18 (NKJV)
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.
Matthew 5:16 (NKJV)
If Jesus is 'A Light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel' (Luke 2:32), then brilliant illumination is the destiny of both Jews and Gentiles; it's a shared marquee.

Consider Hollywood as a Jewish stronghold. Consider Jesus as 'Commander of the army of the Lord' (Joshua 5:14). Now consider actors, models and talent for Christ: God's communication task force being called up into active duty--even starring roles. Is this a match made in Heaven?

Surely it is. Do the Jewish leaders of Tinseltown respect Jesus? Increasingly, but not necessarily the same way as their Christian brethren.

'Encouraged by the success of 'Blind Side' and other movies, studios are embracing star-powered, faith-based films. In many quarters, Hollywood has long been regarded as an essentially godless place. But judging by the offerings at the movies this season, and more in the works, Tinseltown is rediscovering religion' (Susan King, L.A. Times).

'Consequently, there are now more family movies and more movies with positive Christian content and positive Christian worldviews than since the end of the Golden Age of Hollywood in 1966' (Dr. Ted Baehr, MovieGuide).

Even if the primary motivation of Hollywood kings is making money from Christian audiences, Jews and Gentiles are working together. It's the beginning of a mega-merger: a script written by God. And what God has written will surely come to pass.

'Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Cornerstone, in Whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord' (Ephesians 2:19-21).

God intends Jews and Gentiles to stand together as the Body of Christ. In end times we will.
