Kidnapping (Part 2)
'Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.' And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.
Mark 10:14-16 (NKJV)
Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Matthew 18:5-6 (NKJV)
'It's just really unfortunate that drugs, bad people, bad influences, took over. It took over her dreams, her love, and her motherhood. I'm scared of show business' (Celine Dion on Whitney Houston).

'I'm telling you a lie in a vicious effort that you will repeat my lie over and over until it becomes true' (Lady Gaga).

'I'm a bad girl because I like to tease... If people want a role model, they can have Miley Cyrus' (Katy Perry).

'I'm an angel compared to some of my friends' (Lindsay Lohan).

'I want women and men to feel empowered by a deeper and more psychotic part of themselves' (Lady Gaga).

'I got a dirty mind. I got filthy ways' (Kanye West from "E.T.").

Here's the thing: when kids don't have good leadership at home, they seek it from their friends and their favorite stars.

Today's wandering stars may not feel like kidnappers, but leadership bears a price; 'For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required' (Luke 12:48). 'My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment' (James 3:1).

'But wait,' our partying stars might say. 'I never opted in to be a teacher, a leader, or anyone's role model.'

The price of fame is leadership. Everyone must pay it. Since leadership is inevitable, the only question is this one: where are you leading our children? Toward freedom or bondage? Toward God or away?

Away is kidnapping. Away is ravaging. Away is a pandemic loss of innocence. Away is disease. Away is despair. Away is human trafficking that has become the world's second largest export.
