Love... Always Hopes
Hope does not disappoint.
Romans 5:5 (NASB)
Hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
Romans 8:24-25 (NASB)
Hope deferred makes the heart sick.
Proverbs 13:12 (NASB)
Hope plays a big role in the successful progression of life. Here's how I think it works:
1. The Dream (of your vision or calling)
2. The Hope (for your dream's fulfillment)
3. The Faith (in God through challenges)
4. The Work (towards your dream)
5. The Wait (without regarding the time)
6. The Attitude (of love and thanksgiving)
7. The Success (from glory to glory)
Each step must be completed and continued in order to realize your life's unique goals. These steps concern both your dreams--and the dreams of those close to you.
In considering today's 3rd key Verse (Proverbs 13:12) on hope 'deferred':
A. Your heart will not get sick if you stay on the 7-Step track. Waiting periods will be marked by light, expectation, advancement, friendships and joy. However, stay open to God's direction of your dream.
B. Never dampen the dreams of others. Naysayers can harm unprotected hearts. If doubters have damaged your dreams, go deeper in Christ. He will heal your heart and rekindle your dream.
Therefore, we love.
