Love... Is A Happy Ending
I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
John 14:2-3 (NKJV)
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Revelation 22:20-21 (NKJV)
Jesus is the Finisher: the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.

In every earthly contest, the closer's role is crucial to secure a hard-fought win. With God's Own Son on our side, love will never, ever lose. Love will rise--just like Jesus.

Regardless of how hard our lives have been, the happy ending we desire will come.

Quite often in His Word, God reminds us: our current lives are brief: like a vapor, 'That appears for a little while and then vanishes away' (James 4:14, NASB).

Yet when we're sad, our pain doesn't feel brief. Tests and trials seem unbearably long.

But if we focus on love... His for us and ours for Him, extending to others... love will lighten the wait time. Inevitably. Indubitably. Miraculously. Until the fruition of love comes to pass.

"I labored, yet not I. By the grace of God, I am what I am, and do what I do' (paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 15:10). I love God's Word. As a late-in-life committed Christian with no Bible training prior to age 51, some people wonder how I'm qualified to write devotions. I wonder that, too. But God loves children and fools for Him. I am both. Ghost Writer? God.
