Love... Is Active
Let all that you do be done in love.
1 Corinthians 16:14 (NASB)
Now you also must complete the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to desire it, so there also may be a completion...
2 Corinthians 8:11 (NKJV)
Talk is cheap. Love costs.

'For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life' (John 3:16, NKJV).

Love is not what we say. It is what we do.

As a performer, consider love to be your leading act and greatest play: the most important role of your life.

You've been cast by the best Director in the universe for the Greatest Show on Earth, Part 2. His very Own Son starred in Part 1. It was a priceless production: a crushing drama with a brilliant conclusion.

Soon, Jesus is coming back to lead the Finale.

Your action plan? Until then, rehearse diligently. Smile tenderly. Walk lovingly and study His Script daily. Remember a key line:

'Faith without works is dead' (James 2:26, NKJV). So too, love.

Therefore, we love.

"I labored, yet not I. By the grace of God, I am what I am, and do what I do' (paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 15:10). I love God's Word. As a late-in-life committed Christian with no Bible training prior to age 51, some people wonder how I'm qualified to write devotions. I wonder that, too. But God loves children and fools for Him. I am both. Ghost Writer? God.
