Love... Is Timeless
So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed only a few days to him because of the love he had for her.
Do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
Imagine a love so exhilarating that time becomes irrelevant. Love's first blush never fades. Instead, it grows, and the passing of years feels like minutes or seconds. God loves us like that.
Through Jesus, all imperfections are cleared. Regardless of externals, we're uniquely beautiful. God enjoys every precious step of faith we take. Heaven cheers, too.
Here's the catch: eternity is beyond our comprehension. On earth, we march to dates and deadlines. Therefore, most people don't pause to consider immortality's ramifications.
1) Our loved ones in Christ will always be loved ones.
2) Bumps in love's path will disappear... if we are willing to wait.
3) Our disappointments are love's greatest refining moments.
3) Our life on earth is a set up job for what lies beyond it.
Therefore, we love.
