Love... Is Transforming
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same Image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV)
For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the Image of His Son...
Romans 8:29 (NASB)
And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the Image of the heavenly Man.
1 Corinthians 15:49 (NKJV)
He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like His Own...
Philippians 3:21 (NLT)
If people in love feel wonderful, if their faces glow with happiness, if they move like they're walking on air, if they speak the most positive words and radiate new enthusiasm, their friends can't help but notice the change.
Because fervent love is transforming. And what relationship could surpass a union with the greatest Lover in this world--and surely beyond it?
'Dear Lord, I am thankful for our relationship. When I forget, please forgive me. You are my Father, Beloved and Teacher. Please transform me into Your Image. Make me radiant, because it is written, 'They looked to Him and were radiant' (Ps 34:5). Give me pep in my step, health as my wealth and a smile all the while. I want to look like You, act like You and be like You. Where You lead, I will follow. I love you, Lord. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.'
