Mobile Technology (Part 3)
To And Fro
The earth is violently broken,
The earth is split open,
The earth is shaken exceedingly.
The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard,
And shall totter like a hut;
Its transgression shall be heavy upon it,
And it will fall, and not rise again.
Isaiah 24:19-20 (NKJV)
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.
2 Chronicles 16:9 (NKJV)
And the Lord said to Satan, 'From where do you come?' So Satan answered the Lord and said, 'From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.'
Job 1:7 (NKJV)
We should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting.
Ephesians 4:14 (NKJV)
But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.
Daniel 12:4 (NKJV)
Can anyone disagree that the earth is broken? With wars, earthquakes, tsunamis, meteors, recession, and the swing of public opinion, we rock in the violence that surrounds us. We roll into a position of protection. We reel from a lack of direction.
Yet our Director calls out to us. He watches us with a vigilant Eye--seeking stars on the dark stages of Earth. He's ready to promote us, but are we ready to be promoted? Or have we acted foolishly, pretending the wars and rumors of wars don't involve us?
At the core of the breakage is Satan, who 'Comes only to steal and kill and destroy' (John 10:10). Too many people don't know he is 'The prince of the power of the air' (Ephesians 2:2).
Too many of God's children have compromised--content with one hour a week in Sunday School. God says, 'Show yourselves men' (Isaiah 46:8)--not kids at a church social.
Don't dance with the harlot named media. She's not real. Underneath is corruption. Instead, grow up in Truth. His Name is Jesus, and He's got more for you than a two-inch screen.
But if you don't look up, you may miss it.
Running to and fro can be a good thing. It depends on who's calling the shots. It depends on whether you're controlled by a phone in your hand or the God in your heart.
