Nakedness, Part 3 (Conclusion)
'Behold, I am against you,' says the Lord of hosts; 'I will lift your skirts over your face, I will show the nations your nakedness, and the kingdoms your shame.'
Nahum 3:5 (NKJV)
Thus says the Lord God: 'Because your filthiness was poured out and your nakedness uncovered in your harlotry with your lovers, and with all your abominable idols, and because of the blood of your children which you gave to them... I will gather them from all around against you and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness.
Ezekiel 36:37 (NKJV)
Hollywood likes to be naked. So does New York. In fact, film and fashion run neck and neck in hot competition to see who can expose skin faster. They call it 'art' and 'freedom of expression.' I call it pornography and bondage.

Look at it this way: the average 12-year-old boy doesn't see nakedness as art, and the average 12-year old girl doesn't see the bondage beyond it. Children become victims, as human trafficking is pumped by entertainment idols. When lust is dressed up, when teen stars hook up, when nice girls vamp up, then bad boys ramp up. And bad men.

But here's some good news: God's stars are waking up too. God is lifting the skirts of nakedness higher in a shock and awe campaign of full-frontal light. Who gets hit? Everybody, but specifically His church and the talent within it. Why? So, they'll get stirred up, motivated to help, and busy becoming stars.

The field of media is ripe and its scope unprecedented. Here's more good news: kids are getting smarter. Even kids who don't know Jesus see the consequences of 'abominable idols' and many are looking for a better path. They are seeking truth and clarity in a confusing world.

Enter actors, models, and talent for Christ - by the thousands. God's new stars are looking hipper, cooler, and by far happier than wandering star-idols with skirts in the air. God's stars are not only covered by fun clothes, they are covered with the Blood of Jesus and His favor for such a time as this.

By presenting a true image of Jesus for children to follow, they fulfill His Words: 'I was naked and you clothed Me' (Matthew 25:36).

"I labored, yet not I. By the grace of God, I am what I am, and do what I do' (paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 15:10). I love God's Word. As a late-in-life committed Christian with no Bible training prior to age 51, some people wonder how I'm qualified to write devotions. I wonder that, too. But God loves children and fools for Him. I am both. Ghost Writer? God.
