Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ.
Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us...
Don't lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your own good example.
Within media, imitate no one, in terms of appearance or performance, because originality is key. Among church leaders, imitate no one, unless you see sincere humility, because some pastors are full of themselves.
Here's Who to imitate: Christ, your Lord.
Study His every move in the Bible. Rehearse His every Word as your best Script. Spend time in His glorious creations. Turn off the noise and listen for His Voice. Nurture His Holy Spirit within you. Spend time in the presence of small children.
When thinking of God becomes your habit, you'll become a reflection of His Son.* In the process of these contemplations emerge incredible transformations. Your behaviors will gradually change. Therein, you become examples worth following.
Actors, models and talent for Christ: Showing the Face and Heart of Jesus is surely the role God assigned you. Because some stars show the opposite: stars who lead fans to harmful places; stars who aren't yet headed to the Light.
As His models, you can change all that.
