The world doesn't want to wait for marriage. It doesn't want to wait for home-cooked meals. It doesn't want to wait to buy new stuff. It doesn't want to wait for victory, so waiting on God seems ridiculous.
Actors, models and talent for Christ: Your Role Model preached the opposite. Patience, endurance, perseverance and persistence throughout hard trials are the means for everlasting joy. As in...
Wait on God. He will come. You will win.
His timing will prove exactly right, and you'll see it clearly looking back. But for now, you must practice your faith, rehearse the back step of self-control and refuse worldly impulsiveness:
Not just impulses to buy or get, but also the ones to leave or quit. Therefore...
* Be patient for the right roles to come.
* Be patient for the things you desire.
* Be patient with mistakes people make.
* Be patient with your own learning curve.
Allow God the time to set the stage. Because the glorious production of your life is brilliantly complex.
