Name Tags: You Are... (Part 93)
For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey...
Matthew 25:14-15 (NKJV)*
You're actors, models and talent for Christ. God has entrusted you with His talents in this captivating age of fiction: an age where King Con captures hearts and minds by the millions, sticking them in a web of media, enchanting their eyes by screens large and small.

So they settle for a spectator's life: laughing and crying with made-up stories written by King Con's advertising team. They're taught what to want, wear, eat, say and do. Perhaps his biggest con concerns freedom: convincing his prisoners that they're free. But sooner or later, they learn they're not.

But what if you take your gifts and talents, enter King Con's web with God's protection, advance by God's will (without getting stuck) and multiply the talents He gave you to glorify God as ambassadors?

What if the clear Truth in your performance opens blind eyes and sets the captives free? What if lost lambs and stray sheep follow you in film, fashion, music or on Insta? What if they discover your greatest Love? Then one day soon you'll hear these lovely Words...

'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord...' (Matthew 25:21).

"I labored, yet not I. By the grace of God, I am what I am, and do what I do' (paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 15:10). I love God's Word. As a late-in-life committed Christian with no Bible training prior to age 51, some people wonder how I'm qualified to write devotions. I wonder that, too. But God loves children and fools for Him. I am both. Ghost Writer? God.
