Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their clothes on it, and He sat on it.
'Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.' This He said, signifying by what death He would die.
Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into Heaven.
Surely the Son of God chose to humble Himself from a height we cannot imagine. After reigning in Heaven, He served on earth in a life without possessions or prestige. He taught, healed, delivered, and blessed while being hunted, cursed, abandoned, and betrayed.
In the disguise of a man with limited power, He defeated earth's ruler with limitless love. Utter humiliation became ultimate elevation in the lifting of the cross. The nails pounded into Jesus did not pin Him, but Satan. The dark angel's wings were clipped with each decisive blow.
When the earth shook that day, the doors of eternity opened for all mankind.
Actors, models, and talent for Christ: remember the King on a cross. Remember His lows which prepared for His high. Cherish every position in which God places you. If you have yielded your life to His will, the Master Tactician will direct your movements--as He did His Son's.
Understand the tactical advantages of undercover operations and humility. Forget the world's value system because it's on a losing course, and you have already won through your faith in Jesus.
As God positions you on various stages small and large, play your roles with joy. A casting director's waiting room is a stage. So is a subway, apartment, shopping mall, or church. And every person you meet is priceless to God. Therefore, represent Him well.
Whether you are separated, in a secret place, or experiencing delays... whether you are an extra or haven't booked a paying job... whether you're running with the pack and hoping for a break... or especially if you're down low or standing high--God is positioning you for stardom.
To shine in the night of our world for the 'Bright and Morning Star' (Revelation 22:16).
