Practice Makes Perfect: Good Practices
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me--put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Each day, do we practice righteousness as God describes and Jesus exampled? To serve our Lord, obey His Rules, follow His Son, love our neighbors, bless our enemies, forgive our debtors, host the lonely, find the lost, spread Good News, resist temptation and speak the truth?

Do we continue our efforts to act like 'Sons of God' (Galatians 3:26, NASB) and disciples of Christ? Because if God is our Father and Jesus is our Example, we must do as He did: practice His moves and rehearse His Lines.

If not, we'll fall into the practice of success as the world describes and men example: to serve ourselves, bend the rules, follow the stars, fight our neighbors, beat our enemies, collect from debtors, host our friends, skip the losers, spread bad news, enter temptation and speak what's easy.

If so, we act like 'Sons of fools' (Job 30:8, NKJV), 'Sons of disobedience' (Colossians 3:6, NKJV), 'Sons of this world' (Luke 16:8, NKJV) and 'Sons of the wicked one' (Matthew 13:38, NKJV). Jesus says: 'The desires of your father you want to do' (John 8:44, NKJV). God forbid we please 'The father of lies' (John 8:44, NIV).

Actors, models and talent for Christ: no one is righteous but Jesus. Incredibly, He shares His righteousness with us. Even so, He expects us to practice, because 'Everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him' (1 John 2:29, NKJV). 'In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest' (1 John 3:10, NKJV).

Because 'When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right Hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right Hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.'

'Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me' ' (Matthew 25:31-40, NKJV).
