Proverbs For Performers (Part 100, Conclusion)
Yes! Heaven Is Real
Do not let your heart envy sinners,

But be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day;

For surely there is a hereafter,

And your hope will not be cut off.

Proverbs 23:17-18 (NKJV)
Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be Your Name

Matthew 6:9 (NKJV)
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ...
Philippians 3:20 (NKJV)
Dreams of heaven thrill believers in God. Although God says our lives are just a breath, a here-today and gone-tomorrow wisp, time can seem like a lingering choke-hold or a nonstop run of feel-good movies:

The former we're frightened will never end, like struggling against unyielding chains; the latter we're certain will always last, but we're floating in a soapbox bubble.

Hard times challenge our determination. Easy times challenge our dedication.

God put eternity in every heart.* Some may not know Him, but still they believe: something supernatural lies beyond. Hollywood imagines the mystery, with handsome vampires and end-time sagas, with witches, wizards and non-dead beings. If we weren't fascinated by these thoughts, spook shows would be shelved. But eternity knocks hard on our hearts.

'Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My Voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me' (Revelation 3:20).

Enter stage right two thousand A.D., actors, models and talent for Christ: holding answers to crucial questions, like whether or not heaven is real. Even so, you must get in the game to offer the Truth for seeking hearts.

If a Proverb is a wise saying, you're saying, God is real. Come and see.

----

* 'He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end' (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
