Public Relations (Part 18, Conclusion)
And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: 'Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king's palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?'
Esther 4:13-14 (NKJV)
You will be brought before kings and rulers for My Name's sake.
Luke 21:12 (NKJV)
Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
Isaiah 60:3 (NAS)
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.
Matthew 5:16 (NKJV)
Actors, models and talent for Christ: Esther's duty is your duty. Esther's placement will be your placement. Esther's decision must be your decision.
Think about it: she was an ordinary girl (admittedly attractive, wise and favored by God) destined to live an extraordinary life: the life of a queen. Esther had a great home, abundant food, cool clothes and a wonderful family. She had most everything most everyone wants. But a time of great evil arose in her land. Countless people would die. Her intervention was desperately needed.
Actors, models and talent for Christ: most of you are ordinary people (admittedly attractive, wise and favored by God) destined to live extraordinary lives. You may have lives of comfort. The poorest among us live like royalty compared to 90% of the rest of the world.
You may have a great home, abundant food, cool clothes and a wonderful family--most everything most everyone wants. But a time of great evil has arisen in our land. Countless people are dying. Your intervention is desperately needed.
God says you will be brought before kings and rulers for His Name's sake. It's already happening. The kings of media are becoming intrigued by God's Word and His stars. That trend will grow. Through you, God pleads for hundreds of millions of lives in peril--lives crying for hope, lives crying for truth.
Who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
