Sectarianism (Part 6, Conclusion)
An Undivided Church
The hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father... But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and truth.
John 4:21-24 (NKJV)
An undivided church moves with an undivided heart: a heart pumping His Blood to its body. 'This is My Blood of the new covenant' (Mark 14:24).

An undivided church speaks with an undivided Head. 'Christ is Head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body' (Ephesians 5:23). We are His body.

An undivided church follows one Rule Book: The Bible. 'Your Word is a Lamp to my feet and a Light to my path' (Psalm 119:105).

An undivided church embraces one Rule Update: 'He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me' (John 14:21).

An undivided church studies one Teacher: 'For One is your Teacher, the Christ' (Matthew 23:10).

An undivided church invites one Teacher's Aid: 'The Helper, the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My Name' (John 14:26).

An undivided church prints one calling card: 'By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another' (John 13:35).

An undivided church humbles itself: 'A disciple is not above his Teacher' (Luke 6:40). Nor do His disciples display arrogance of any kind.

An undivided church condemns idol worship within itself: 'No one can serve two masters... You cannot serve God and mammon' (Matthew 6:24).

An undivided church embraces others: 'Why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye?' (Luke 6:41).

An undivided church illuminates Christ: 'You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden' (Matthew 5:14).

Actors, models and talent for Christ: you lift the church beyond its roof. You lift your fans beyond American idols. You are God's solution to sectarianism.

You sing a new song. You dance a new step. You model a new look. You act in Truth, which amazes the world. Because Truth has been hidden. Through you, He is found.

Your authority comes straight from The Top. You rise above 'The prince of the power of the air' (Ephesians 2:2), who is Satan. You surf on his airwaves by orders of The King. 'The rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew' (Matthew 7:25), but you do not fall. Though media is a mess, you stay clean. Even more, you shine.

You rise, and millions rise with you. You are the Kingdom of God. You are a new generation of Christians. Behind you, His church unites.

Sectarianism is an old roof with loose tiles. Remove them and let the healing begin.

"I labored, yet not I. By the grace of God, I am what I am, and do what I do' (paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 15:10). I love God's Word. As a late-in-life committed Christian with no Bible training prior to age 51, some people wonder how I'm qualified to write devotions. I wonder that, too. But God loves children and fools for Him. I am both. Ghost Writer? God.
