Separating Light From Dark (Part 1)
Then God said, 'Let there be light'; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.
Genesis 1:3-4 (NKJV)
Getting back to basics, all the way back to the beginning of the Bible, to the start of our world, brings us to the purpose of actors, models, and talent for Christ. God is separating light from the darkness.
Since the fall of Adam, the world has been twisted and wrong side up. The deception began with a serpent and ends with a King. He says,
'Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness' (Isaiah 5:20).
When film grew legs in the 20th century, it seemed like good fun. But within a few decades, the eye of the camera exploded into billions of eyes on millions of screens.
'But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!' (Matthew 6:23).
But God is still God, and He allows the stage to be set.
'I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, and not forsake them' (Isaiah 42:16).
The Director is casting His actors, models & talent for Christ.
