Stars In The Night (Part 1)
I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.
Revelation 22:16 (NKJV)
And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
2 Peter 1:19 (NKJV)
Have you thought about the light in our lives?
Consider the sun: a brilliant, dependable, and inescapable fireball that brings warmth to our days. It may be covered by nightfall, a cloud, or even an eclipse for a moment, but it's still there, and it always rises in radiant splendor. The earth can't live without the sun.
Consider the Son: a brilliant, dependable, and inescapable Fireball Who brings light to our lives. We may be covered by pain, a problem, or even a catastrophe for a moment, but He's still there. He lifts us to rise above our suffering in radiant splendor. We can't live without Jesus.
Consider the night. Only within it can we see the glowing stars. They don't shine as the Son or the sun, but they provide hope and guidance for men in the darkness.
Actors, models, and talent for Christ are His stars in the darkness of the entertainment industry. God allows this backdrop for His bright performers. They provide hope and guidance for all who will see them.
Therefore, welcome the darkness. You were made to stand against it.
