Stars In The Night (Part 2, Conclusion)
Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will diminish their brightness.
Joel 3:14-15 (NKJV)
I will cover the heavens, and make its stars dark...
Ezekiel 32:7 (NKJV)
'Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision' will be brought into the Kingdom of God through His stars in the media. Don't underestimate the importance of your role in this movement, for 'The day of the Lord is near.' God is moving in all fields and on all frontiers of the world at this very moment.

As God promises through His prophets, the world will grow dark in end times. So, too, do many stars in Hollywood. Child stars become sex(y) stars seeking to take a generation of bewildered children with them. Yet, against this terrible backdrop, evil is clearly seen. So are God's stars. They rise by the thousands.

In a different mission field, open your eyes to the biggest and most repressive government in the world, where millions who step out of the party line are persecuted, imprisoned, and tortured. Consider China, where Mao Zedong out-killed Adolph Hitler. Unlike Germany, the regime continues today, no matter what their PR experts would have us believe.

'China's "strike-hard" policy, presented as a crackdown on criminals, is hardest on Christians, putting more believers in prison or under detention than in any other country.... Yet the church grows: an estimated 3,000 Chinese come to Christ each day. China's house church movement, which comprises approximately 90 percent of China's Christians, endures unimaginable persecution, yet stands on its commitment to preach the gospel no matter the cost' (World Net Daily).

China will soon have (or already does) the largest number of deeply committed Christians in the world.

The darkness grows. Our roles are clearly defined against it.

Hold high His torch--each in his own field. Prepare the way of the Lord.

"I labored, yet not I. By the grace of God, I am what I am, and do what I do' (paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 15:10). I love God's Word. As a late-in-life committed Christian with no Bible training prior to age 51, some people wonder how I'm qualified to write devotions. I wonder that, too. But God loves children and fools for Him. I am both. Ghost Writer? God.
