Success Strategies (Part 25)
Kindness
'With a little wrath I hid My Face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,' Says the Lord, your Redeemer.
Isaiah 54:8 (NKJV)
Kindness moves easily.
A smile cannot be bound.
Kindness is connecting.
Extending hands are found.

Kindness loves the lonely.
New friends are everywhere.
Kindness is contagious,
Like fragrance in the air.

Kindness must be active.
Good deeds bring joy and health.
Kindness lives a big life.
It always shares its wealth.

Kindness builds high bridges
That Satan cannot cross.
Kindness fills harmful holes
That often follow loss.

Kindness visits inmates
And beggars on the street.
Kindness humbles itself.
It even washes feet.

Kindness looks for strangers.
It seeks those most in need.
Kindness cooks and searches
For hungry mouths to feed.

Kindness is a sweet sound,
That calms an angry man.
Kindness acquiesces.
It says, 'I will; I can.'

Kindness transcends language,
That separates nations.
Kindness is a peace sign
Throughout God's creation.

Kindness comes from Heaven
It's shared by God's request.
His Name is Jesus Christ.
Who aced man's every test.

Learn the rules of kindness
From Him Who gave His all.
That we'll one day join Him
To rise and never fall.

Kindness in media
Is notable and rare,
But that's why God now shoots
His stars into its air.

So be good and be kind
In talent, word and deed.
Therein, Christ's performers
Are destined to succeed.

"I labored, yet not I. By the grace of God, I am what I am, and do what I do' (paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 15:10). I love God's Word. As a late-in-life committed Christian with no Bible training prior to age 51, some people wonder how I'm qualified to write devotions. I wonder that, too. But God loves children and fools for Him. I am both. Ghost Writer? God.
