The Enemy's Game (Part 100, Conclusion)
Star Players: You
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.
Matthew 5:14-16 (NASB)
Our earth is now in desperate darkness, with refugees in the tens of millions, babies killed in the hundreds of millions, ravaging wars in destitute nations, drugs abounding in prosperous nations, aggressive nations hating Israel, s_x-trafficked victims forced into horrors, mass-marketed lust promoting this crime...

With Americans detached in silence, Christians isolated in their churches, eyes directed to TVs and smart phones, dreams re-directed to selfish concerns, thoughts attracted to media's big shows, teens online 70+ hours a week, celebrities idolized as if gods, and star-struck fans harmed by their examples.

Perhaps to call mankind's struggles a game is to make light of human suffering. Such disrespect is not my intention, but it is the intention of Satan. He delights in our fears, flights, faints and falls. With big, bully bluffs and sweet-smelling bait, the dragon cons us into bad places. But believers should know and show better.

Actors, models and talent for Christ: Our ignorance of his battle plan, especially in a closed-off church, turns naive believers into prey. So let's change this noun into a verb: specifically, an action verb. By pray-ing for God's enlightenment, you're positioned to rise, shine and win, with media as your launching pad.

While our Lord has left us as stewards, while our Captain has ordered our moves, directing us to cover earth's fields, trusting us to continue His gains, He's coming back for the final goal. His touchdown will be seen everywhere. The enemy's team will be evicted, and the winning side will celebrate.

So let's be in this game when He comes. Let's work to multiply His talents. Let's offer seeking hearts The Way home.

'And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light' (Romans 13:11-12).
