Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.
Do not turn aside from any of the Commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.
When He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.
Most experts agree: a movie's worth is built upon on good direction. The other crucial component in a film's success is a good script. Even gifted actors and studio backing will fail without them.*
Most pastors agree: a saint's witness is built upon on good direction. The other crucial component in a walk with Christ is the Good Book. Even star-studded Christians and big church backing will fail without them.
I believe God prefers a forward direction. He untwists crooked paths and likes 'The street called straight' (Acts 9:11).** His ways are clean, clearly marked and full of light.
I believe the enemy prefers round abouts. He who 'Leads the whole world astray' (Revelation 12:9) likes rabbit trails.*** His ways are foul, distorted and secretive.
Actors, models and talent for Christ: The straight and narrow path is your way. Beware dark alleys and phony lights. Beware tempting turns and looking back. Don't follow confusing directions and don't run with some pigs down a cliff.****
God will open doors in front of you, but you must be in step with His Son. Because Satan will open doors, too. So how can you know which door is right?
1) It won't open unless you're moving; 2) It will be in front and not behind; 3) It will be in line with His Guide Book; 4) It will bring Good News to all nations; 5) The way will be straight, but not easy. 6) Bad kin will hate it and put you down. 7) True friends will rejoice and pray for you.
