The Enemy's Game (Part 60)
If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat.
Proverbs 25:21 (NASB)
Jesus said to them, 'I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me shall not hunger...'
John 6:35 (NASB)
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Galatians 5:22-23 (NASB)
Imagine a bitter and critical person. As a result, he doesn't have any real friends. Perhaps he's quite accomplished in his profession, with the position, power and perks to prove it.
Imagine his childhood in a house without love. As a result, his heart contracted and hardened. Perhaps this person is an unpleasant neighbor. Understandably, you attempt to avoid him.
But what if you invited him to eat with you? What if he tasted the Best Food in the whole world, so he wanted to come back again and again? What if he became an entirely new person, because he found The Bread of Life on your table?
Actors, models and talent for Christ: Appearances can be deceptive. Millions who seem well-fed are hungry. They're pumped up on artificial food. The taste only lasts a few seconds, and the after-effects are awful.
They're starving for truth, love, peace and joy. They're starving for kindness and goodness. They're starving for a reason to live. They're starving for a purpose in death. They're starving for The One Right Answer.
Actors, models and talent for Christ: When you invite people to watch you, you're inviting them into your life. If your life is like a lovely home with a table prepared for your guests, then The Bread of Life awaits them there.
Satan's starvation plan is denied. God's fulfillment mission is affirmed.
