The Enemy's Game (Part 9)
Tactics: Propaganda
Consider carefully what you hear.
Mark 4:24 (NIV)
For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness... While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption.
2 Peter 2:18-19 (NKJV)
Propaganda is 'information, ideas or rumors deliberately spread widely to help or harm a person, group, movement, institution or nation.' * It's a biased report spun by a master manipulator: a publicity campaign engineered to win our hearts and minds.

If men are like sheep, we're led by our ears: 'My sheep hear My Voice... and they follow Me' (John 10:27). Long before birth, babies begin to hear. Right before death, hearing remains active. Our ears are the entry portal for words, and words hold 'The power of life and death' (Proverbs 18:21).

Actors, models and talent for Christ: if words can usher people into life and death, if Jesus is the Voice every man needs to hear, if faith comes by hearing and hearing by God's Word, if you carry both God's Word and His Spirit, if media carries you unto all nations, then you need to speak on entertainment's stages.

Because if Satan continues his unchecked reign, if doubt enters by hearing the enemy's words, if 'The prince of the power of the air' (Ephesians 2:2) screams loud, if his words carry lies, darkness and destruction, if kids aren't wearing the helmet of salvation, then he's seeking to lead lost lambs down a broad path.

Enemy hype can be silenced by words of truth.

To Be Continued...

"I labored, yet not I. By the grace of God, I am what I am, and do what I do' (paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 15:10). I love God's Word. As a late-in-life committed Christian with no Bible training prior to age 51, some people wonder how I'm qualified to write devotions. I wonder that, too. But God loves children and fools for Him. I am both. Ghost Writer? God.
