Entitlement is the belief that we deserve certain privileges.* This belief is nurtured by the one who got kicked out of Heaven for it. He knows if he can convince us to feel the same way, we'll end up losing.
Actors, models and talent for Christ: You're not entitled to anything. Not your beauty, talent, iPhone, full plate, big stage... or even salvation. They are unmerited favor from a God Who loves us exceedingly.
The fields of entertainment are hard. Don't expect fast or easy success. Don't be fooled by reality shows, because they aren't the reality. Most of the world's stars worked long and hard. Ditto for God's stars in the Bible.
Christians now rising in media must cast off thoughts of entitlement. They're stumbling blocks that will send you home.
