I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men must tremble and fear before the God of Daniel. For He is the living God, and steadfast forever; His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed, and His dominion shall endure to the end.
Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, and I shall keep it to the end.
I have known job hoppers. When the going got tough, they quit--seeking greener pastures. I have known work shirkers. When the going got tough, they got lazy--and eventually got fired. I have known fear fainters. When the going got tough, they got scared--and they left.
I have known fair weather friends. When the going got tough, they took an easier path--and became enemies. I have known complainers. When the going got tough, they looked for fault--and hurled stones. I have known hypocrites. When the going got tough, they were exposed--as fakes.
I have known actors, models, and talent for Christ. When the going got tough, too many quit, got lazy, got fired, got scared, went home, sold out, found fault, hurled stones, and were exposed as fakes.

It's your gift; 'You shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit' (Acts 2:38). It's your duty, 'As a good soldier of Jesus Christ' (2 Timothy 2:3). It's your destiny; 'Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations' (Matthew 28:19). It's your Teacher; 'The Helper, the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you' (John 14:26).
Does anyone think a God-honoring path in the entertainment industry will be easy? 'In this world you will have trouble' (John 16:33). Do we serve an easy God? 'For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God' (Deuteronomy 4:24).
Were the paths of any of His stars easy? 'If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me' (Luke 9:23). Is anything worthwhile easy? 'Whoever forces you to go one mile, go with him two' (Matthew 5:41).
Contrary to popular opinion advertised by 'The tempter' (Matthew 4:3), no!
